Funeral services for Mrs. Etta Mae Frank, 65, of LaMarque were held from the Chapel of the Peter E. Ettinger Funeral Home in Bellville at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 19 with Rev. Craig Summer officiating.  Burial was in the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers were: Henry Ueckert, George Reinicke, Ralph Frank, Harry Zander, Fred Dehnel and Isador Zander.

 

Mrs. Frank died in the College Park Care Center in Texas City at 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 1983.  She had been in failing health for the past year.

 

Born in Bellville on July 7, 1918, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fritz H. Zander.  She was reared in Bellville and graduated from Bellville High School in 1936.  She was a member of the Bellville St. John Lutheran Church.

 

The former Miss Etta Mae Zander was married to Emil H. Frank, Jr. on August 14, 1940 in ceremonies performed in LaGrange.

 

Survivors include:  husband, Emil H. Frank, Jr. of LaMarque; son, Jerry Lee Frank of LaMarque; sister, Mrs. W.H. Schomburg of Bellville; brother, Fred Zander of Bellville; and two grand-children, Marc Jon and Julie Laura Frank. 

She was preceded in death by her parents.
