Services for James T. Bradley, 92, were conduced Friday, December 16, 2005 at The Shepherd's Way Church, Sealy, with Pastor Frank Lucas officiating. Mr. Bradley died December 11th. Bradley was born Dec. 6, 1913 on a farm in the Texas Panhandle, near the Oklahoma border. He graduated from West Texas State University in Canyon. A WWII veteran with the U.S. Coast Guard, Bradley also served as a Texas State Highway Patrolman. In later years he worked for Gemco Oil Co. until his retirement. He is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Pearl Beatrice Bradley. Mr. Bradley is survived by his son, Donald Bradley; daughter, Sharon Rofe and her husband Albert; grandchildren Dana Pierce, Donna Miller, Dawn Rangel, Delanie Westling, Donald Bradley Jr., and Charette Dersch; as well as 16 great-grandchildren and nephew Gene Barton and his wife, Nancy. Pallbearers serving included Don Bradley, Steve Dersch, Don Bradley Jr., Albert Rofe, James Howard and Steve Howard. Donations can be made in Bradley's honor to the American Cancer Society or to The University of Texas, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Arrangements by Knesek Family Funeral Chapels. Posted by Joy Neely
