Funeral Services for Lee F. Bryant, 80, of Bellville, formerly of Cypress, were held on Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at 1 p.m. from Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel in Bellville with the Rev. Bill Heston officiating. Lee F. Bryant was born in Independence, Mo., the eldest son in a family of six of Lee and Margaret Bryant. He married Rachel Hubbard in Kansas City, Kansas and they would have celebrated 60 happy years on Dec. 24, 2005. He served his country during WWII in the Navy on U.S.S. Wisconsin as a Fire Controlman 2/C. He was a 58 year member of Masonic Lodge Chapter 438 and the Eastern Star Sincerity Chapter 295. His hobby was genealogy and as a result joined the Sons of the American Revolution Robert Rankin Chapter 62. He retired in 1992 after 37 years with Automatic Sprinkler Corporation. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting with his friends and family. He is cherished by his surviving children, Craig Bryant and spouse Julie of Houston, Ron Bryant and spouse Judy of Bellville, Nanci Bryant Wallace of Houston and Lesley Bryant Hays and spouse Greg of Cape Canaveral, Fla.; grandchildren Patrick Bryant, Elizabeth Bryant, Chris Bryant, Sarah Bryant and Lee Wallace; sisters Peggy Block and Rosalee Myres of Kansas City, Kansas. Preceded in death by his parents. Lee and Maragaret Bryant, brother, Eugene Bryant, sister, Ruby Wyman, granddaughter, Heather Jane Bryant.
