Clay
Becky Lynn Clay, 48, of Brenham, died Sept. 25, 2005, at Trinity Medical
Center in Brenham.
Mrs. Clay was born May 1, 1957, in Brenham, to George D. and Barbara Mendell
Maynard. She was a graduate of Brenham High School.
On May 1, 1991, she was married to James S. Clay. Mrs. Clay was an assembler
at Trepan Tools and was a supporter of Marine Moms.
Survivors include her husband, James S. Clay of Brenham; sons and
daughters-in-law, Brandon and Kelli Maynard of Houston, Brian and Misty
Maynard of Brenham and Chris Maynard of Brenham; daughters and sons-in-law,
Jeniffer and Charles Davidson and Crystal and David Martinez, all of
Brenham; three grandchildren; her father, George Maynard and wife Mildred of
Kenney; her mother, Barbara Schroeder and husband Wesley of Anderson;
brothers and sisters-in-law, George ³Duncan² and Rhonda Maynard of West
Virginia and Howard and Lorinda Maynard of Brenham; father-in-law and
mother-in-law, T.C. and Leigh Ruth Clay of Brenham; brothers-in-law and
sisters-in-law, David Jones and Patti Clay, Finney M. and Donna Clay and
Tommy and Florence Clay, all of Brenham.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Maynard; granddaughter,
Taylor Leanne Maynard; and her grandparents.
The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27 in
Memorial Oaks Chapel.
The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28 in Memorial
Oaks Chapel with Rev. John P. ³Jack² Faulkner officiating. Burial will be in
the Independence Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Maynard, Brian Maynard, Chris Maynard, David
Martinez, John Whiddon and Seth Klehm.
Employees of Trepan Tools will be considered honorary pallbearers.
Memorials may be given to your favorite charity.
