Darvin Dallas Lubojasky, of Sugar Land, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away April 30, 2005 at the age of 80. Born Feb. 21, 1925 in the Travis community of Austin County, he was the son of Frank and Annie Lubojasky. He was raised in the Nelsonville Brethren Church. Darvin served in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was a member of the VFW Post 4010 and SPJST Lodge 201. After 40 years of service with Imperial Sugar Company he retired in 1988. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Adela Lubojasky and brothers Franklin and Delton Lubojasky. Survived by his wife of 54 years, Betty Sue, their children Linda Gholson and husband Rick, Donna Ragsdale and husband Guiton, Douglas Lubojasky and wife Sheila, Rodney Lubojasky and wife Luann, Betty May Williams and husband Wade; grandchildren Cory and Amy Gholson, Ryan and Kristie Gholson, Keith and Jill Ragsdale, Lindsay, Cody, Bobby, Hayley, Cade, Heath and Kiley Lubojasky, and Chance and Tate Williams; great granddaughter Mackenzie Gholson; sister Evelyn Spinks and husband Victor; sister-in-law Margie Lubojasky and many other loving relatives and friends. Visitation was held 5-8 p.m., Monday, May 2, 2005 at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home where Funeral services were held at 1 p.m.., Tuesday, May 3, 2005. Interment followed in Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery. Donations can be made to The American Heart Association, The American Diabetes Association, or a charity of your choice. Posted by Joy Neely
