Mary (Ragutskas) Pearson, 81, died May 10th at her home in Prior Lake, Minn.
She was born October 27, 1923 in Long Island, NY, the daughter of Peter and
Anna (Zemaitus) Ragutskas. On December 3, 1944, she was united in marriage
with David Wilson Pearson in Somerville, NJ. David preceded her in death May
20th, 1986. Mary was a homemaker and a member of Catholic Daughters and Blue
Army of Our Lady.
Mary is survived by her daughters and son-in-law: Karen and Tommy Godwin of
Cat Spring, and Mary Alice Lake of Prior Lake, MN; son and daughter-in-law:
David Alan and Paula Pearson of Nazareth, PA; and grandchildren: Billy and
Pam Janwich of Austin; Brent and Stephanie Lake of Fairbault, MN; Sherri
Goebel and her fiance, McKenna J. Bergeron, of Breaux Bridge, LA; David and
Angi Janwich of Lafayette, LA; Ryan and Jennifer Lake of New Prague, MN;
John Marlowe of Bayonne, NJ; Florence Tuttle and her husband, Francis, of
Fort Meyers, FL; Peter Ragucky and his wife, Ethel of Ogdensburg, NJ;
Marjorie Noonan and her husband, Jack, of Somerville, NJ; and numerous
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mary was preceded in death by
her parents, her husband, David, and her sister, Anna Veen.
Visitation was held from 4 - 8 p.m., Thursday, May 12, 2005 at
Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home in Prior Lake MN. Funeral Service was held at 11
a.m., Friday, May 13 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Savage, MN
with Father Rinaldo Custodio presiding. Visitation was also held from 4 .m.
to 8 pm., Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at the Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel in
Bellville, where Rosary was recited. A grave side service was conducted May
18th at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Sealy with Deacon Frank
Laredo officiating. Pallbearers were Tommy Godwin, David Janwich, Billy
Janwich, ryan Lake, Harry Kopech and Bill Janwich.
