Mr. Leonard  Dominey, 68, of New Ulm, passed away Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009 at Trinity Medical Center, Brenham, Washington County.

Leonard was born in Willow Springs, on Jan. 13, 1941, the son of the late Ellis and Lydia (Eckermann) Dominey.

He is survived by: Wife Maxine Dominey of New Ulm; sons Lloyd husband of  Misty Dominey of Willow Springs. Jason Dominey of Willow Springs, Darryl husband of  Cindy Dominey of Elgin; daughter Ruth wife of  Leland Noska of Fayetteville; sister Doris wife of  Melvin Laake of Willow Springs; sister Betty wife of  Roy Kulhanek of Houston; grandchildren Cartlyn Noska, Marshal Noska, Jacob Dominey. Ottis Dominey. Nolan Dominey, Olivia Dominey.

Services were held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Fayetteville, 10 on Tuesday, Aug. 25,  with Pastor Karen Nelson officiating.

Interment followed in Pagel Cemetery Fayetteville.

Mr. Dominey honorably served in the Army National Guard.  Visitation was Monday, Aug. 24, 2009 from 4 - 7 p.m. at Konig & Strickland Zaskoda Chapel.
