Lillie Marie “Granny” Jaseck was born the daughter of Hugo Brau and Fannie Peters in Bellville on March
17, 1923. She grew up and attended school in Bellville and married Rudolph “Rudy” Jaseck in the early 1960s.
Granny worked at the Bellville Restaurant and both the Four County and Port City Auction Barns. But, she
really loved working on her ranch and taking care of her cattle, donkeys, and chickens. Granny was a member of the Sons of Hermann and enjoyed camping out
and traveling with her family. She also greatly enjoyed her trips to Coushatta in Lousianna.
Granny leaves behind her husband Rudolph “Rudy” Jaseck; son Jessie Rogers, Jr. and his companion, Jana
Wood, of Bellville; son-in-law Travis Wehring of Houston; grandchildren Stephanie Torres and her companion, William Clingan, of Baytown, Jeanene De La Rosa of
Santa Fe, and Kristina Lawless and husband, Michael, of Needville, and J.T. Rogers and his companion, Amy Patke, of Rosenberg; great grandchildren Ashley De La
Rosa of Santa Fe, Dakota Torres of Bay Town, and Anthony Bates-Lawless of Needville. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Linda Wehring.
Serving as Pallbearers are J.T Rogers, Mike Lawless, Dakota Torres, Travis Wehring, Jay Blum, and Anthony
Bates-Lawless.
The family received friends on Monday, June 1, 2009, from 5-7 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home in
Bellville. The funeral service was at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at the Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel in Bellville with Pastor Michael Groseclose officiating.
Burial followed in the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to the Bellville Volunteer Fire Department, 106 South Holland, Bellville, TX 77418. Posted by Joy Neely
