Mikeska

Funeral services for Patricia (Pat) Mikeska, 69, of Houston were held Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009 at 10 a.m. from Knesek Bros. Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Tim Bucek, officiating.

Interment followed in the National Cemetery. Pallbearers were Wayne Kocurek, Loyd O’Grady, Eric Waggoner, Larry Zajicek, Mike Mahecek and Jaun Lopez. 

Pat was born on May 31, 1939, in Philadelphia, Penn., the daughter of Jim and Lenora O’Hare. She was raised and attended schools in New Jersey. 

On Nov. 30, 1957 the former Patricia O’Hare was united in marriage to Dalton Mikeska in San Antonio. Pat and Dalton made their home in Houston where she was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church.

She worked for Sam Houston Hospital, Spring Branch Hospital and Curtis 1000 as a quality control clerk.

Pat passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009 in Houston. 

She is survived by her husband, Dalton Mikeska Sr. of Houston; sons, Dalton J. Mikeska Jr. from Austin; Michael Mikeska and wife, Janet from Sealy; sister, Rita Tavis and husband, Ed from West Berlin, N.J.; brother, Mike O’Hare and wife, Maryann of Tallmansville, W. Va.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jim O’Hare, Jr.
