Funeral services for Mrs. Hulda Waak, 96, of Bellville were held at 2
p.m. on Monday, Feb. 8 from the Chapel of the Pete E. Etlinger Funeral
Home in Bellville with Rev. Mark Lucke officiating. Burial was in
Coshatte Cemetery. Pallbearers were Charles Witte, Kenneth Arnold,
Roger Waak, Donnie Waak, Richard Bryant, Lynn Monical and Norman Bond,
alternate. Mrs. Waak died at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6, 1988 at
Bellville General Hospital. She had been in failing health for the past
year. She was born Feb. 12, 1891 in Bellville to parents Mr. and Mrs.
August Timme. She was raised in Bellville and attended Coshatte public
schools. On March 4, 1915, Miss Hulda Timme was married to Henry C.
Waak. A housewife, she was a member of St. John Lutheran Church of
Bellville and the Ladies Aid of the church. Survivors include:
daughters, Grace Witte of Bellville and Gladys Arnold of Katy; son,
Boxly W. Waak of Wimberley; 12 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and
seven great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
parents, her husband and one daughter, Mrs. Hazel Smith.
