BUCHTIEN
Norman Walter Buchtien 75, was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 15, 2000.
Mr. Buchtien was born on January 8, 1925 in Sealy, Texas. He proudly served his country
in the U. S. Army during World War 11. He was an employee of Bland Cadillac for 34 years
and was a member of St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church.
Mr. Buchtien is survived by
his loving wife of 52 beautiful years, Emalyn Buchtien; his proud sons, Ronald Buchtien
and wife Karen, Michael Buchtien and wife Monica; grand-daughters, Allison, Rachel,
Kasey, Kelly, Audrey, Emily, and Shelby Buchtien; sisters-in-law, Gloria Anderlla
and husband Florian, Erna Mae Buchtien; special niece, Cheryl Anderlla; numerous
nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, November 17,
2000 at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday,
November 18, 2000 at the funeral home with Reverend Cramer Johnson officiating.
Interment to follow services at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
