Forest Family or Old Forest Cemetery
near Medina, Bandera County, Texas
Location:   From Medina go east 2 miles to FM 2828, turn left to the Laxson Creek area.  Cemetery is to the right about one or two miles from the road in a remote area.  It is on fenced private property and is no longer in use.
 

Forest, Dr. Rush Bedford,  b  8/13/1868,  d  10/19/1912, Medina doctor and drug store owner

Forest, Infant of doctor and wife,  b  8/22/1903,  d  8/22/1903, baby did not live

Gourley, Catherine E.,   b  10/28/1828,  d  4/21/1904, doctor’s in-law

Gourley, William P.,   b  1/22/1824,  d  4/8/1912, doctor’s in-law

Dr. R. B. Forest born August 13, 1868, died October 19, 1912. Modern Woodman. 
William P. Gourley born January 22, 1824, died April 8, 1912. 
Catherine E. Gourley born October 28, 1828, died April 21, 1904. 
Infant of Dr. and Mrs. R. B. Forest stillborn August 22, 1903.
