Rambie or Strickland Cemetery



 

Location:    The cemetery is located on Mason Creek in a remote area 2 to 4 miles northeast of Bandera.  It is located in rugged terrain on a private ranch.  Cemetery is no longer in use.

Edith Rambie McElroy born November 27, 1899, died September 9, 1927. 
Horace Edgar Rambie born April 21, 1860, died November 23, 1943. 
Annie Strickland Rambie born February 18, 1871, died July 24, 1918. 
Nancy, Wife of Jerome Strickland born March 21, 1832, died September 13, 1920. 
Horace E. Rambie Jr. born 1895, died 1915. 
 

Six graves are in a small fenced pen near the Rambie cemetery There are no markers. They are supposed to have died from some mysterious disease.
