The Family Histories, descendancies and ancestors of the settlers given below have been donated
by various individuals, some with sources, some without. Neither Texas GenWeb, US GenWeb
and Blanco County, it's webpage, nor its County Coordinator, Wanda Qualls, make any claims
as to their accuracy or authenticity. It is up to the individual to verify the accuracy and sources
if he or she so wishes. Histories, photos, and family trees of settlers and their homesteads are
always welcome. Please send in Report format of either Descendancy Tree, Ancestral Book or
Report for pedigrees. For biographies or histories, please submit in ASCII (.txt) or Word 97
or lower (.doc), Rich Text (.rtf) or WordPerfect (.wpd) formats.

Woodson Blassingame (Recently-arrived settler in "Pittsburg" who, along with his son Calvin, was killed by a lynch mob for the death of Capt JH Callahan & William "Maulheel" Johnson in 1856. ***Note: Don Watson is willing to share information on a one on one basis with persons doing research on this family. Rev. Samuel Johnson (First County Clerk for Blanco County, later served as a County Judge and was a Methodist Circuit Rider. He laid the cornerstone for the Methodist Church in Blanco that is today an historical landmark.
