Before me, Thomas M. Hunt, clerk of District Court, appeared R.L. MINSHEW, who being by me duly sworn says an oath that Miss Vick PARKER is over the age of 18.

This will show the clerk of the county of Burleson that I am willing for my daughter, Martha Stovall to marry I.H. DIKES of the county & state as aforesaid therefore upon the presentation of this for issue of license to marry the same as above stated. W.P. STOVALL. October 4, 1871
