Bloom Size= 3 to 4 inches

		A low growing plant seldom more than 8 inches tall. The plant looks much the same as the young Bluebonnet before the blooms appear.. The bloom bud appears as a round bud often more than 1 1/4 inches in diameter and located at the very top of the plant. There may be from one to four bloom buds. When open, very unusual flowers are displayed around a spiny center for more than a week. I am not sure as to the name of this plant but except for the height, it much resembles the Tall Scurfy Pea.
