Rastus L. Reagan  4/21/1914 -2/28/2007

Funeral services are scheduled for Rastus Reagan, 92 of Jacksonville for Saturday, March 3, 2007 at 2:00 PM in the Autry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Harvey officiating.  Burial will follow at Jarratt Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home on Friday, March 2.

Eva Mae Darby 12/31/1915 -2/25/2007

Eva Darby, 91, of New Summerfield passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2007 in Trinity Mother Frances, Jacksonville.  She was born on December 31, 1915 to Burley and Anna Mae McMeans in New Summerfield. 

Graveside services are scheduled for Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Pinecrest Cemetery in Troup with Rev. Hank Chandler officiating.  Visitation will begin on Tuesday, February 27, with family receiving friends from 6 PM to 8 PM at Autry Funeral Home.  

Mrs.  Darby was a homemaker and a retired school teacher.  She taught for 10 years in New Hope and 10 years in Troup.  Mrs. Darby was  known for her braided rugs, crochet, and china painting. She was a very giving person and shared her talents with others.   

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years N. H. Darby, brother, Paschal McMeans, and sister, Ruby Jewell Whitesides.   Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis & Garry Clem, Jacksonville; sisters, Estelle Shoemaker of Holly Lake Ranch, and Dorothy Nielsen of Branson, Missouri; her special friend Tommy Ruth Dotson of Jacksonville; and several nieces & nephews.  

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Klein Animal Shelter in Jacksonville, or the charity of your choice. 

Andrew Freeman 1/17/1984 -2/25/2007

Funeral services for Andrew Freeman, 23 of Tyler are scheduled for Thursday, April 5 at 2:00 PM at Autry Funeral Home. 

Family visitation will be Wednesday, April 4th from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.

 Melba Sinclair 1/28/1942 -2/25/2007

  MELBA MARIE SINCLAIR, 65, went to be with her lord on Sunday, February 25, with her family by her side.  She lived her life with courage and dignity, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.  Services are scheduled for Thursday, March 1, 2007 at 10:00 AM in the Autry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Copeland and Rev. Odis Bryan officiating, burial will be in Hendricks Cemetery.   Melba was born in Houston County on January 28, 1942 to Albert & Carrie White.  Forty-Nine years ago she married  Billy Bob Sinclair  and together they were owners of Sinclair Plumbing Company for 31 years.   She was preceded in death by her parents; Albert & Carrie White and brothers; Billy Ray, Robert and Doug White.   She is survived by her husband Billy Bob Sinclair, Rusk, four children; Steve Sinclair and his wife Earlene, Cushing; David & his wife Dianne, Rusk; RayNell Sinclair Sosby and her husband David, Rusk; and Tammy Sinclair Chastain and her husband Alan, Rusk: ten grandchildren; Lindsey Sinclair Oliver and her husband Brent, Rusk; Amanda Chastain, Naperville, Ill.; Brandon Sosby, Richardson; Sean Chastain, Bryan Sosby, Casey Sosby, Kris Sinclair, Kyle Sinclair, and Wesley Chastain, all of Rusk and Luke Sinclair, Tyler; Sisters: Mary Smith, Zella Smith and Jimmie Jones all of Rusk; Maureen Jones, Lake Striker and Sharon Wilburn, Maydelle; Brothers: Lacy White, Rusk and Royce White, Berryville, she is also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and friends.   Pallbearers will be Brandon Sosby, Sean Chastain, Bryan Sosby, Luke Sinclair, Kris Sinclair, Kyle Sinclair and Wesley Chastain.     The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, February 28 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.

 Robert E. Terrill, Jr. 03/23/1923 -2/24/2007  

Robert Emmett Terrill, Jr. passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2007 after a long illness.  Bob had lived in Dallas, TX since 1946.  He was born in Kansas City, Missouri on March 23, 1923, the son of Robert and Edna Terrill and was raised in Guthrie, OK.  He joined the Army Air Corp on August 20, 1941.  He served as a gunner in a B-29 until October 13, 1945.  During that time he served in the India Burma, Central Burma, East Indies, China and Air Offensive Japan Campaigns.  Bob had to bail out once when the plane caught fire and was awarded the Air Medal of Honor five times, as well as the distinguished Flying Cross.  He worked for AT&T for 36 years until his retirement.  He married his wife Joyce Elizabeth Ragsdale on June 28, 1950.  He loved his family, Texas and the United States of America.  He and his wife Joyce raised five children and have 8 grand children.    He is survived by his wife Joyce, his daughters Patricia Van Nort, Donna Terrill, Carol Sims, and Kristie Sanguinet, his son Robert Terrill and sister Helen Mc Masters.   Funeral services will be held at Earle’s Chapel Methodist Church in Jacksonville, Texas on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at 11:30 AM.  Visitation will be at the Church thirty minutes prior to the service.

Jesus Jimenez 5/2/1974 -2/22/2007

A funeral mass is scheduled for Jesus Jimenez, 32 of Jacksonville for Monday, February 26 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, with Father Mark Kusmirek officiating, burial will be in Still Waters Memorial Gardens

Jesus passed away on Thursday, February 22 at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston.

Rosary services will be Sunday, February 25 at 7 PM in the Autry Funeral Home Chapel.

No visitation is scheduled. Mr. Earle was the last surviving member of his family.

Robert J. "Bob" Dudley 8/3/1937 -2/5/2007

Robert J. Dudley (Bobby) 69, passed away peacefully from this world to God’s loving arms on Monday, February 5, 2007.

Bob was born August 3, 1937 to Edward and Thelma Dudley in Jacksonville, Texas, but had lived in Dallas for 41 years. He is preceded in death by his father Edward. Bob was a builder his entire life starting out with his father. After moving to Dallas, Bob formed his own general construction company; development; and masonry companies. Also was a home builder; consultant for F.D.I.C. and R.T.C. and numerous banks. In his latter years he and wife did design builder home projects.

He was an active and dedicated Christian, seeking to deepen his walk with the Lord. He found great joy in being of service to his church community, and taught adult Sunday school classes, was a lay pastor, senior lay pastor and eventually a district pastor. He understood the grace and mercy of God in a fresh way the past five years. His constant prayer was that his entire family would walk in faith.

Bob lives on in the hearts of his wife of 32 years Maxine Dudley; his daughter Brenda Porter & husband Richard; his sons Brad Dudley and Barry Dudley and wife Jayne; stepson Brent Young & wife Kristi; his beloved grandchildren Nick & Sarah Beth Porter; Beau & Bennet Dudley; Brock & Taylor Dudley; Blake & Bailey Young; his mother Thelma Dudley; his sisters Mary Lynn Harper & Tricia Dudley; and other extended family and longtime friends; and all of us whose lives he so uniquely touched.

Pallbearers will be; Burr Davis, Wayne Dudley, Luther Jackson, Elray Meyers, Ed Smith & Nelson Wall.

Graveside services are scheduled for Thursday, February 8, 2007 at 1:00 PM at Jarratt Cemetery, Jacksonville, Texas. Dr. Morris Sheats will be officiating the service.

Memorial services are set for Saturday, February 10, 2007 for 2:00 PM at Epithany Episcopal Church, 421 Custer Rd., Richardson, Tx.
