 Peggy Hall Harton  8/11/1928 -5/16/2007

Last night we said goodbye to our mother, grandmother (MiMi), wife, mother-in-law, aunt, and friend.  We loved Peggy Harton.  She was a self-less human being and a loving Christian woman who always wanted to be doing something for someone else.

She was a friend to all who knew her.  She loved and accepted everyone into her heart and circle of family and friends.  She was talented and artistic.  She loved creating beautiful, unique, handmade treasures for her loved ones.

She was a teacher of school children.  She always wanted to be fair to children she taught and to treat them equally.  She also loved teaching her grandchildren and spending time with them.  Her home was always open to her family and friends.  MiMi always had a spare moment to offer assistance.

She lives forever in all of us, for each time we do a simple or not so simple act of kindness, we celebrate a little of Peggy Harton and pass along a little of this precious person to someone else.

We are blessed to have known her and to have been mothered by such a lovely person.  We shall miss her greatly, but we are comforted that she was at peace and ready to take the next journey with Christ.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Sunday, May 20 at 3:00 PM at Central Baptist Church under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, burial will be in Still Waters Memorial Gardens.
