Minerva Ann Hall Smith Huckabee was born 7 Sep 1829, in Bedford, TN 
to John & Susanna Hall.  She married first, Joseph P. Smith [son of 
General James & Hannah Parker Smith] of Rusk County, Texas.  He died
about 1860.  She married 2nd, Ezekiel Huckabee of Pontotoc County, MS 
on Dec 24, 1876 in Coryell County, Texas.  She died 13 Jan 1898 and 
is buried in the Sipe Springs, Comanche County, Texas Cemetery.

 

Joseph P. Smith & Minerva Ann Hall Smith --Minerva later married a Huckabee 
Joseph died and Minerva and her children moved to Coryell & Comanche Counties in Texas. 

Their children are: 
1.James Jasper Smith 1848 [married Josephine Hall] 
2.John Thomas Smith abt 1851 [don't know what happened to him] 
3.Hannah Texana Smith Milner Black 1853 [married first Williamson Milner, then James 
   Johnson Black--went by Texana usually] 
4.Delilah Jo Smith 1857 [some have her as Huckabee, but that was her step-father's name] 
   Married Henry Madison Smith, the son of HM & Sarah Hall Smith.
