That deceased had no Father, Mother, Brother or sister or any other relatives in these United States, other than Juan Ayala, who is a distant relative and consents or does not object to this application. That M. Litchtenstein is the largest creditor of said Estate and asks that Pedro Eznal be appointed permanent administrator. That Pedro Eznal is not disqualified by law to act and is suggested by M. Litchtenstein who as a creditor is entitled by law. Therefore your applicant prays that notices be issued and parties cited by law and that your Hon. appoint Pedro Eznal Administrator of said Estate and that he be granted letters.  For which he will ever so pray.

      You are hereby commanded to cause to be posted in three of the most Public places in your County, one of which shall be at the Court House door, and no two in the same City, town or village copies of the following notice.

The State of Texas
      To all persons interested in the Estate of Tho. Henderson, dec'd, Pedro Eznal has filed in the County Court of Duval County an application to be appointed Permanent Administrator of the said Estate of Tho. Henderson dec'd. Which will be heard at the next regular term of the Probate Court of Duval County, which will commenced on Monday the 7th day of November A. D. 1892 at the Court House in the Town of San Diego, at which time all persons interested in said Estate may appear and contest said application, if they see proper.
      Herein fail not under penalty of the law, and or this Writ  make due return. Issued the 14th day of Oct. 1892

   Know all men by these present that we, Pedro Eznal as Principal and L. Levy and A. Becher as sureties are held and firmly bound unto the County Judge of Duval County and his successors in office in the sum of Seven Hundred ($700.00) Dollars, conditional that the above bound Pedro Eznal, who has been appointed Administrator Pro tem of the Estate of Thomas Henderson, Deceased, shall well and truly perform all the duties required of him under said appointment.

      Be it hereby Remembered that on Monday May 1st A. D. 1893 there was begun and holden in the Town of San Diego Duval County Texas a regular Term of the County Court in and for said County at the Court House thereof. The Hon. F. Garcia Tovar County Judge Presiding and there was present in addition thereto

and Geo. B. Hufford and Bethel Coopwood, Jr. resident members of the Bar.
      Court was declared open by proclamation of the sheriff at the Court House Door.*
      The following resolutons of Respect were then submitted to the Court.
      To the Hon. F. Garcia Tovar Judge of the County Court holding for Duval County.

      In Response to our feelings of sadness and as a Committee appointed this morning being the first day of the Regular term of your Honors Court it becomes our faithful duty to present the following resolution adopted by the var of this County in connection with the death of our fellow member of the Bar the late J. W. Moses, Ex County Judge of this Court, who departed this life April 29th 1893 aged 68 years. Whereas the Almighty Ruler has removed from our midst our Brother Attorney, it behooves us to make this testament in respect to his memory.
      That by the Departure from our midst of Judge J. W. Moses the Bar of Duval County has lost the oldest legal light, a pioneer lawyer, and energetic, free hearted Citizen who was always courteous to his legal brothers and a loving husband and indulgent Father.
      Resolved   -  That we have heard with sincere regret the announcement of the Death of Judge J. W. Moses.
      Resolved   -  That the sympathy of the members of this Bar be tendered to the family of the Deceased on their bereavement and that the Clerk of this Court transmit to them a Copy of these Resolutions and that the same be spread upon the minutes of Our Honorable Court.
      Resolved   -  That as a further mark of Respect to the memory of the Deceased this Court do now adjourned.


*It having been suggested by the Court that a member of the Bar Judge J. W. Moses had died since the last term of the Court, the Court appointed the following Committee to draft resolutions of respect, to report at once.
