Inventory of Personal and Real Estate of the property of Thomas Henderson deceased by the appraisers, J. W. Waller, J. C. Cuellar and J. de Alcala by order and appointment of J. W. Moses, County Judge Duval Co. (I did not list the inventory here. Apparently Thomas Henderson owned a General Merchandise store and the inventory was for all items in that store. I may add inventory later.)

      We the underesigned appraisers appointed by the Hon. County Judge of Duval County to appraise the Real and Peresonal Estate belonging to the Estate of Thomas Henderson, dec'd, do solemnly swear that the above and foregoing, contains a full and complete Inventory of all the property of said Estate, which has come to our knowledge up to date, and also a fair valuation of the same, as We verily believe.

      Be it hereby Remembered that on Monday May 1st A. D. 1893 there was begun and holden in the Town of San Diego Duval County Texas a regular Term of the County Court in and for said County at the Court House thereof. The Hon. F. Garcia Tovar County Judge Presiding and there was present in addition thereto

and Geo. B. Hufford and Bethel Coopwood, Jr. resident members of the Bar.
      Court was declared open by proclamation of the sheriff at the Court House Door.*
      The following resolutons of Respect were then submitted to the Court.
      To the Hon. F. Garcia Tovar Judge of the County Court holding for Duval County.

      In Response to our feelings of sadness and as a Committee appointed this morning being the first day of the Regular term of your Honors Court it becomes our faithful duty to present the following resolution adopted by the var of this County in connection with the death of our fellow member of the Bar the late J. W. Moses, Ex County Judge of this Court, who departed this life April 29th 1893 aged 68 years. Whereas the Almighty Ruler has removed from our midst our Brother Attorney, it behooves us to make this testament in respect to his memory.
      That by the Departure from our midst of Judge J. W. Moses the Bar of Duval County has lost the oldest legal light, a pioneer lawyer, and energetic, free hearted Citizen who was always courteous to his legal brothers and a loving husband and indulgent Father.
      Resolved   -  That we have heard with sincere regret the announcement of the Death of Judge J. W. Moses.
      Resolved   -  That the sympathy of the members of this Bar be tendered to the family of the Deceased on their bereavement and that the Clerk of this Court transmit to them a Copy of these Resolutions and that the same be spread upon the minutes of Our Honorable Court.
      Resolved   -  That as a further mark of Respect to the memory of the Deceased this Court do now adjourned.

*It having been suggested by the Court that a member of the Bar Judge J. W. Moses had died since the last term of the Court, the Court appointed the following Committee to draft resolutions of respect, to report at once.

Which after being read was adopted. Court then adjourned until tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock A. M.
      Thursday May 2nd A. D. 1893. Court met this 9 o'clock A. M. and took recess until Saturday May 6th 1893 at 9 o'clock A. M.
      Saturday May 6th A. D. 1893. Court met this 9 o'clock A. M. present as before.
      The Probate Docket was then taken up in its regular order and the following business transacted. Viz

      The above and foregoing being read and there being no further Business Court now adjourned until next Term in Course.

      I, Francisco Garcia Tovar, Judge of the County Court of said County, upon examination of the following claims against the said Estate to Wit:

and finding that said accounts have been duly authenticated as required by law and allowed by the lawfully constituted administrator of said Estate as valid claims against the Estate of C. J. Dix dec'd, in favor of F. Gueydan & Co., H. G. Dickman, John J. Dix and Jjose Vaello and perceiving no error therein, do hereby approve the allowance of said claims and that the same be closed as follows to Wit. Claim No. 1 as Third Class and claims No. 2-3-4-5 as Fourth Class

      Report of Temporary Administrator

To the Hon. County Court of Duval County Texas
      The undersigned Temporary Administrator of the Estate of Mrs. C. J. Dix deceased would respectfully show that the following is a list of all the property that has come to my hands as Temporary Administrator of said Estate to Wit

Personal Property

No sales of property have been make, the Administrator Pro Tem confining himself solely under his appointment to the care of the Estate and presentation of the same, and in pursuance of which sundry expenses were incurred . Which is fully set out and appended hereto marked Exhibit A and asked to be made a part hereof.
