Personally
appeared before me, James O. Luby a Notary Public, for and within said State and County F.
Gueydan a member of the firm of F. Gueydan & Co. who being by me duly sworn, upon oath
says that the above amount, against the Estate of Mrs. C. J. Dix deceased is within the
knowledge of the affiant just and true, that it is due and that all just and lawful
efforts, payments and credits have been allowed.

Dix Wm. A. Tinney Clerk C. C. D. C. Texas $500.00 Laredo June 7th 1890 On or before the 7th day of June 1891, one or either of us promise to pay to the order of Clarence W. McNeill in the Town of Laredo, Texas, the sum of ($500.00) Five hundred Dollars with Ten percent per annum interest until paid, and in case the same is not paid at maturity and is placed in the hands of an attorney for collection or is sued upon then ten per cent shall be added as attorneys fees for value received.

Before
the undersigned authority personally appeared H. G. Dickman, who after being duly sworn,
says that he is the agent and attorney of W. R. Jones, that the said W. R. Jones is the
owner and holder of the attached note for the sum of $500.00 and interest therein from the
date thereof at the rate of ten percent per annum signed by Hayes Dix, John J. Dix, and
Mrs. C. J. Dix, that said note is a valid claim against the Estate of Mrs. C. J.l Dix,
deceased, that said claim is just and that all legal offsets, payments and credits known
to affaint have been allowed and that affaint is cognizant of the facts contained in this
affidavit. Sworn to and subscribed before me this 25th

of the Estate of Charles Roach, deceased, produced before us by Ascecion Roach, Executrix
of said Estate.

It having been shown to me that Paul Henry, a resident of the County of Duval, died in said County on the 9th day of June A.D. 1893, leaving an Estate, consisting of both real and personal property of the estimated value of $4000.00, and that the interest of said Estate require the immediate appoint of an administrator. It is ordered that Fredenca Henry be and is hereby appointed temporary administrator of the Estate of said Paul Henry deceased, with authority to take possession of all property of said Estate, and to do and perform all such acts as may be necessary for the presentation of said estate. It is further ordered that the said Fredenca Henry give bond in the sum of Five Thousand Dollars and take the oath as required by law, that this order be recorded in the Minutes of the County Court of said County and this appointment shall cease to be in force on the day designated for taking up probate business at the First term of the County Court of said County held next after the date of this order.

Fredenca Henry, Widow of Paul Henry, deceased, made application on the 29th day of June 1893 for letters of Administration upon the Estate of the said Paul Henry deceased. It is therefore ordered by the Court that notice of said application be given according to law.

Mrs. Fredenca Henry having on application been appointed temporary administrator of the Estate of Paul Henry Deceased, and having filed the requisite bond. It is hereby ordered that the following parties, be and are hereby appointed appraisers of said Estate, to Wit: A. Becher, F. Zanbano and E. E. Dennery to Inventory and appraise all real and personal property of said deceased, and return said appraisement unto Court before the next regular term according to law. Vol. B Page 161

letter of administration upon the estate of Paul Henry, deceased respectfully shows Wm. A. Tinney Court Clerk Duval Co. Texas
Know all men by these present, That I Fredenca Henry as Principal and L. Levy and A. Becher, as Sureties, are held and firmly bound unto the County Judge of the County of Duval and his successors in Office, in the sum of Five Thousand Dollars, conditional that the above bound Fredenca Henry who has been appointed temporary administrator this day 24th of June 1893 for the Estate of Paul Henry, deceased, shall well and duly perform all the duties required of law under said appointment.

swear that I will well and truly perform all the duties of temporary administratrix of the
Estate of said Paul Henry, deceased, in accordance with the law and with the order of the
Court appointing me such administration. Sworn to and subscribed before me this 29th

It having been shown to me that David Chapa, deceased, died in the County of Duval on the - day of - 18- having property in the amount of - Dollars, and that the interest of said Estate requires the immediate appointment of an administrator. It is therefore ordered that the said Geo. Gullett be and is hereby appointed temporary administrator of the estate of David Chapa, deceased, with authority to take possession of all property both real and personal belonging to said Estate. And it is further ordered that the said Geo. Gullett give a good and sufficient bond in the sum of five thousand dollars and take the oath required by law and this order be spread on the minutes of said Court.
Geo. Gullett having been appointed temporary Administrator of the Estate of David Chapa deceased and having filed the requisite bond it is therefore ordered by the Court that the following parties be and are hereby appointed appraisers of said Estate to Wit. Aoeheio? G. Tovar, Perry Downs and Semion Rameriz and said appraisers return a full and complete inventory of all the Real and personal property of the deceased David Chapa unto this Probate Court of Duval County before the next regular Term according to law.
Geo. Gullett having made application for temporary letters of Administration on the Estate of David Chapa. It is therefore ordered by the Court that Notice of said application be given according to law.
To the Hon.
F. Garcia Tovar Judge of said probate Court. Vol. B Page 164 2nd That the said David Chapa was a
resident of this County of Duval State of Tex. at the time of his death, and that he left
property, both real and personal in said County of Duval to Wit: Two thousand and Eighty
acres of land, (2050) sheep, and Goats one thousand three hundred (1300), horses and mules
thirty three (33, cattle sixty head (60). Total value of said entire Estate Four Thousand
nine hundred and thirty three (4930.00) Endorsed No. 79 Application of Ramona
Chapa for letters of Administration on the Estate of David Chapa. Filed June 5th A. D.

Know all men by these presents, that We, Geo. Gullett as principal, and W. S. Gullett, C. C. Lewis and M. Rodriquez as sureties be held and firmly bound unto the County Judge of the County of Duval and his successors in office, in the sum of Five Thousand ($5000.00) Dollars conditional that the above bound Geo. Gullett, who has been appointed temporary Administrator of the Estate of David Chapa, deceased, for the purpose of Collecting and settling all claims against said Estate shall well and truly perform all the duties required of him under said Vol. B Page 165
