I am searching for any information on the children of Hartwell PASSMORE and his wife, Mary L. PERKINS. I am looking for information on Robert BURNS, initials W. R., who operated "The City Restaurant" in Waelder, starting about 1902. He married Elizabeth "Bettie" EVANS in Panola Co., MS in 1883. She died in 1901 and is buried in Waelder Cemetery. He married Alberta DEMENT in Waelder in 1903. His brother, James Samuel Burns, lived in Colony,TX, and his monument was unveiled in Waelder in July 1901. Did their older brother, John C. Burns and their father Wilson A. Burns also move from Mississippi to the Gonzales

Looking for information on my great-grandmother Maria Ignacia MALDONADO. She had a daughter Maria Saturnina (Lina) Maldonado in 1884 in Waelder. Maria Ignacia died between January and August 12, 1937 and is buried at Glen Flora Cemetery in Wharton County. I do not know her maiden name. She had a sister named Andrea and a brother called Nacho. There is a possibility that Maria Ignacia's grandmother or mother's name was Juanita (last name unknown). The daughter Lina married Seferino GARZA and they lived in Fayette / Colorado Counties. I would really appreciate any information.

I have found my great grandad in the Gongales County census. I was wondering if maybe some one knows if this is where he and my great grandma were married. his name was John F. Garner . I found him in the 1870 census . I found him again in the Red River census in 1880. he was married to a Amanda C. and they had two girls May or Mary age 4 and Hattie age 1. I really would like to know what my great grandmas maiden name was.

I found my great grandad, John Garner, in Gonzales County 1870.he was not married at the time. I also found him in Red River County in 1880.by that time he was married to my great grandma. Her first name was Amanda. I need to find out what her maiden name was to help with my search. They had two girls by that time too. Names were May (Mary) age 4 and Hattie age 1. My grandpa was born after the census was taken. His name was George Washington Garner. I hope someone out there knows if John and Amanda were married in Gonzales County Texas. My great Grandfather William Henry SHUPP and my great grandmother Carrie GILCHREASE were married in Gonzales County Texas in 1900. I am having a hard time finding info on Him. We are certain that he came from Baden, Baden Germany between his date of birth:August 15, 1876 and 1900 when he married my great grandmother. I do not have any more information on him than this. I do know there son Waltar Effard Shupp was born there on March 14, 1902, and their daughter Susie Louelle was born there on June 30, 1904. After that I believe they moved from there to another county (Comanche I think.) If you have information on him it would be wonderful to be able to finally have a starting place. Thanks, Barbie

Serena A. HALL married John S. HODGES in 1869 in Guadalupe Co TX. They had one known child: Amanda b. abt 1871. In July 1875 Serena married Olympus M. WILSON in Dewitt Co TX. They had two children: John L. b. about 1877 and Thomas J. b. abt 1879. At the time of the 1880 census Serena & Olympus along with the three children were living in Gonzales Co TX. Serena was born about 1845 in Mississippi and Olympus was born about 1834 in Arkansas. I am particularly interested in Amanda HODGES; did she marry? have children? Where & when did she die?
