Pardue DUBOSE married Elijah RATLIFF IN 1895. I am looking for her parents. They married
in 1895, I have not found the county they were married in. The first time I found them together
was in Kimble Co. in 1900 with their daughter Ida Mae Ratliff was 3 years old and a Willie Ratliff
who was 1. Pardue was born in 1878 in Texas and her mother and father were also born in Texas.
Elijah was the son of William and Mary Ratliff and was born in 1865. Elijah's Grandmother was
Jane TUMLINSON Ratliff and had married Elijah Ratliff. Jane and Elijah came to Texas in 1821
with Austin's first colony. Jane's father was John Jackson Tumlinson who actually formed the first
Texas Rangers or formed the Ranging Company. He was killed in 1824 by Waco Indians. My
husband, deceased, Dr. James Louis STONE Sr. is the son of Ida Mae Ratliff Stone GAGE. I have
so much on the DuBose family but simply can not find Pardue's mother and father. Being born in
1878 I could not find her on the 1880 census by Pardue. Since we have no 1890 census she
married in 1895 and died before 1910. There is a long story on this family. Ida Mae, my husband,
his only brother, are deceased so I am limited in information. I would sincerely appreciated any
information on Pardue if you have any. It could be Dubose, DuBOISE, or DuBose. Thanks

I'm looking for information on my gg grandmother Julia Payne CHURCH BROWN. Julia was
born about 1835 in VA. She married Henry Church in the late 1850's. They appear in the
Hancock County Tn Census in 1860. They had 4 daughters: Margaret (born about 1858),
Elizabeth (born about 1860 - she only appears in the 1860 census, apparently she died as a child),
Matilda (born March 30, 1862), & Julia (born about 1867). In 1870 Hancock County Census,
Julia is alone. In 1880 Hancock County Census, Julia is remarried to a William Brown. William
had 3 children from a previous marriage to Rachel ? - William b1863, Hiram b1865, & Deutis (?)
b 1868. Julia and William had 4 children together before leaving Tennessee - Selite (?) b 1871,
John b1873, Commodore b1874, & Corilles b1876. She and William moved to Texas in the
1880's or 1890's. I found a Julia Brown listed while doing a lookup on the U.S. Archives as
having written a letter to the Gonzales Inquirer on Jan 24, 1895 & May 23, 1895. I thought this
might be my gg grandmother. Any information you have would be appreciated. Thanks so
much.

I'm looking for family background for the PATLAN family that came to Gonzales sometime
between 1910 and 1925 probably from Eagle Pass. I know they emigrated from Mexico during
the Mexican revolution and lived in Eagle Pass for a short time. They than moved to Gonzales.
Later, in the late 1920's most of the family moved to Carrizo Springs except for the oldest married
son, Vicente who remained in Gonzales. The family Patriarch's name was Juan Patlan. If you have
any geneological information regarding this family please send it. I'll be happy reimburse you for
your effort. Edmundo Patlan, W7707 130th Avenue, Hager City, Wi 54014, (715)-792-5363,
