CORRECTION: I was looking through the cemeteries for Gonzales County and noticed some missing data on one cemetery and a name spelling correction on another. In the Leesville Cemetery there is Martha Y. COLLISON listed. She was Martha Yarbrough CALLISON, second wife of Samuel C. Callison, who is buried in the Sandies Chapel Cemetery. In the Sandies Chapel cemetery there is listed Ida TREADWELL, daughter of J. & L. She was Ida Treadwell, born 20 Jan, 1873, died 22 Jan 1873, daughter of J.J. and Louisa Callison Treadwell. Also buried there are Samuel C. Treadwell, born 8 Dec., 1865, died 20 Jan. 1866, and Ada Treadwell, born 10 Oct., 1871, died 12 Oct., 1871, both children of J.J. & Louisa Callison Treadwell. Also buried there is Samuel C. Callison, born Ala., 1813, died ca 1867, veteran of the Siege of Bexar and San Jancinto. He has a grave that is just marked with a large red rock by the Treadwell babies, which were his grandchildren. The other Callisons buried there were also his grandchildren and children.
