1 Feb 1997 NUCKOLS, DUKE, HUNT Samuel Rueben Nuckols born Hanover Co VA, married (1)Mildred Overton DUKE in 1858, served 4h VA Calvary. Children: Eugene Overton Nuckols resided Bosque Co TX, Luther Newton Nuckols buried Hill Co TX, Virgil Buckner Nuckols resided Barren Co KY. Samuel Rueben Nuckols married (2) Lydia Evelyn Hunt (widow HALL) 1876 in Fayette Co TX. He resided in these Texas counties: Waller Austin Co, Gonzales Co, McClennan Co and Hill Co. He was buried 1903 in Bethelehem Cemetery at Whitney. Any information on this or other Nuckols/Nuckolls family as all are descendants from James Nuccol who resided at New Kent Co, VA in 1670.

I'm seeking any information on descendents/ancestors/relatives of Lucius Alexander WALTON, my g grandfather, born 7/23/1823 in Wake Cy., N.C., died in 1886, Cass Cy, Tx. He married Sarah Roxina ROPER of Marshal Cy, Ms Jan 3, 1853. Sarah died in 1907 in Keithville, La. Their son, Albert Sidney Walton, my grandfather, was born in Byhalia, Ms, May 10, 1872, and died in Vivian, La, December 11, 1923. He was married to Alabama GIBSON, my grandmother, born in 1878 in Alabama. She died in Leesville, Tx, May 30, 1913. Any information at all would be appreciated.

Am looking for information on the SUTHERLAND Family. They lived in Gonzales when the war with Mexico started. One died in the Alamo, William Depriest Sutherland. Dr. John Sutherland left for Gonzales a few days before the battle, but arrived back after the fall of the Alamo. I need ancesters, decendents, where they went, if they never returned to Gonzales and any other information on this family and families that may be connected to them. Thanks. Looking for information on MILLSAPS family. Isaac and Mary married in Ms. 1821 and came to Tx in 1835. Isaac went to the Alamo with the Gonzales 38. Mary and small children left with Sam Houston in the 'Runaway Scrape' and evidently never made it back to the area.Any information appreciated, especially pre-Alamo.

WILLIFORD David T. and Lee Louis was in Gonzales in 1880 with a sister who was married to William DENIX. David T. was 18 and Lee Louis was 16. David T. married Emmaline LOOKINGBILL in May 1883, Lee Louis married Polly Ann Lookingbill Jan. 1882. If you have any info please let me know.
