Gerri Ward) b 10/19/1844 Altenweddingen, Germany d 6/12/1925, New Braunfels, Comal Co., TX 1st marriage to Maria Sophia Elizabeth Bergfeld b 1/7/1850 Altenweddingen, Germany d 6/14/1908, Guadalupe Co., TX married on 1868 in Germany. 2nd wife for Andreas was Johanna Memminger b 3/12/1854 Germany d 6/23/1916, New Braunfels, Comal Co.,TX married on 3/3/1911; 3rd wife for Andreas was Dora Schroeder b Goliad Co., TX married 9/5/1916.. 2.* Christian Heinrich Braune b 9/16/1825 Altenweddingen, near Magdeburg, Germany d 8/20/1905, Barbarosa, TX m Fredericke Joachim Laddey b 7/23/1824, Lagen-Wettingen, Germany d 5/29/1904, Barbarosa, TX both buried in Lone Oak Cemetery, (Frieden's Church cemetery) Barbarosa, TX * Christian Heinrich Braune's parents were Christian Henoch Braune b 8/23/1801 Altenweddingen, Germany married on 8/14/1825 to Catherine Christiane Elisabeth Behrens b 8/14/1825, Altenweddingen, Germany, daughter of Joachim Behrens and Elisabeth Kessler. Catherine born abt 1803 *Christian Henoch Braune's parents were: Friedrich Wilhelm Braune and Sophie Elisabeth Mueller married on 11/10/1978 in Altenweddingen, Germany.. Friedrich Wilhelm Braune's father was Andreas Braune b abt 1845 3.* Wilhelm Braune, Sr b 2/7/1848 Germany d 2/14/1928, TX.. his sister, Sophie F. Braune b 1/9/1847 Altonplatow, Saxony.. d 9/5/1923, TX married Gottlieb Karl Bauer.. Their parents were: Christoph Braune, b 3/28/1816 Germany d 10/20/1882 buried in Guadalupe Co., (Braune Cemetery) along beside his wife, Sophie b 1/26/1814 Altenplatow, near Magdeburg, Germany d 3/20/1891. 4.* Carl Gustav Braune b 10/22/1861, Altenweddingen, Germany d 7/15/1836 Lockhart, Caldwell Co., TX married on 2/24/1884 in Clear Springs, Guadalupe Co., TX to Fredericke Emma Wittenborn b 9/26/1864 West Frankfurt, Germany d 12/7/1926 Lockart, Caldwell Co., TX 5. Jacob Braune --so far nothing on him.. 6. Frederick Andreas August "Fritz" Braune.. b 1850, Leipzig, Germany d 12/21/1925 Williamson Co., TX m Augusta Fuchs.. It was mentioned that this Fritz had a brother, Wilhelm.. maybe the one listed above? * indicates information given to me from various Braune members also researching Braune's names .. mostly from *Mary Jane Neuse.. ( Andreas, Frederich Wilhelm,Christian Henoch, Christian Heinrich,sr and Chritian Heinrich, Jr line)..
