Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Patton, formerly of San Antonio, have announced their purchase of the Aumont Hotel in Seguin.
    Former owners of the hotel were Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Hummell, who have moved to Lytle where they will be operating a motor court.
    The Pattons completed the deal, for the Aumont on Jan. 10.  Terms were not announced, Patton said.
    Patton is a native of Fredericksburg, but has spent many years as a resident of West Texas.  He formerly owned a motel in Walensburg, Colorado, as well as another motel in San Antonio.
    "We invite everyone in Seguin to drop by for a visit." Patton said.  He added that he and Mrs. Patton will endeavor to serve the community by making the Aumont headquarters for many community activities.  
    The Aumont Coffee Shop is leased to Mr. and Mrs. John Larison, who will continue their operation there.
