The Seguin Gazette, February, 1950. Cinemascope equipment purchased for Palace
Announcement
was made this week by H. A. Daniels of the purchase of Cinemascope
equipment, together with sterophonic sound, for installation in the
Palace Theatre in Seguin. Daniels purchased the equipment in
Dallas and said that the installation would begin as soon as the
equipment arrived from the factory.
Daniels said that the new equipment was "quite expensive" and that the new sound equipment would be installed complete, in place of the present system. This way all sound effects off and on stage as well as the depth without glasses is possible. The installation of this equipment is in keeping with the present policy of the Palace -- Seguin will be among one of the first towns, outside of cities, to install such equipment.
