Mrs. Edward Zimmermann presented the art program at the Tejas Literary Club Thurs., Feb. 8, in the Federated Club House.
    Her topic was "Modern Art, Message or Madness".  Mrs. Zimmermann gave a brief sketch of the lives of famous painters and also told of some of their paintings.
    Mrs. Stan McKenzie, president, resided at the business meeting.  
    Mrs. Gus Worthington gave a report on the renovation project planned for the club house in the near future.  Other reports were heard.
    The hostesses for the afternoon were Mrs. Emmett Donegan, Mrs. Jon Nelson and Mrs. Robert Ray.  Red tulips graced the dining room table.
    A spring arrangement was on the president's table.  The hostesses served coffee during the meeting.
    It was announced that the meeting would begin at 2 p.m. instead of 2:30 p.m.
