WILLIAMS
I am researching
the family of Thomas H. Williams. Thomas was a white male,
born in South Carolina in 1843.
After serving in the Civil War, he married
Nancy Thompson in Tennessee. They had
one child in Tennessee. His name was
Benjamin Williams, born Oct. 1869.
I would love to know what happened to
Benjamin. Thomas moved his family
to the Guadalupe County area of Texas between
October 1869 and before 1872. They had
two more children: My grandmother, Candis
Victoria Williams and Joel Z. Williams.
Sometime after 1876 and before 1879,
Nancy Thompson Williams musst have died,
for he married Mrs. Mollie Read in Dec.
1879. Thomas and Mollie had three
children, neither of whom married or had
children. Their names were John,
Alice and Winfield Williams. I have always
been told that Thomas was buried in Guadalupe
County. I have found the graves
of Mollie, John, Alice, and Winfield
in the Kingsbury Cemetery. My big
question is where is Thomas H. Williams
buried?
I would love to hear from anyone who
could shed some light on my brick wall.
