How To Get There: East on CR 303 turn right until you come to PR 305. Follow PR 305 through the gate and past the creek is a vacant house. Continue beyond the vacant house and up the hill where you will see the iron fence around the gravesite. The Kirkland Cemetery has only the one headstone which reads "Kirkland, Jesse M.,. Born in Covington LA, , Died July 19, 1883 in Jones Co, Husband". This grave is located on private land (Alexander Ranch) owned and operated by Bob and Laurie Eagle.
