Born in Perry County, Alabama, Andrew Jackson Worrell and wife Henrietta Edwards came first to Fannin
County, Texas. In 1906 the couple and their two daughters moved to Jones County, Texas. Henrietta died
in 1913 and in 1920 Andrew remarried to another Alabama girl named Elizabeth Tyson. Andrew and
Henrietta are both buried in Fairview Cemetery, Jones County, Texas. There was a third dughter, Velma,
for which no information is available and a fourth daughter died at age one month in Alabama.

Nannette sent us a picture of the two daughters, Seabie Jack (on left) and Lallie Fay (on the right). Seabie
later married Albert Napoleon Reed. It is not known if there were children by this marriage. Seabie died in
Jones County on 14 December 1989 but her burial location is unknown.
Lallie was married to Elijah Curtis Tidwell. Little is known about this family. Nannette would of course like
to know of any descendants of Seabie and Lallie. They would be her second cousins.

She also sent this christening photo of an unknown child with "Lallie, Cecile, Worrell" written on the back.
This photo was made was made in Honey Grove, Texas which is in Fannin County and it was probably made
prior to 1906, the year the family moved to Jones County. There is some chance it could be a photo of
any one of the four daughters.
If you have additional information about this family please send it to
Hugh Swift and I will add it to this webpage.
