B. Kanouse family Bible is March 1841, but this date was entered many
years after the event, probably not by Horace or Lydia.
[4]The H. B. Kanouse family Bible records Lydia Ann Laroe's birth
date as 24 Nov 1821, and her gravestone shows it as 11 Nov 1821.  There
is little basis for choosing between these dates.

B. Kanouse family Bible has the marriage date as 24 May 1868, and her
obituary has the date as 23 May 1868.
[6]Terrell Daily Tribune, 11 Feb 1935; the Horace B. Kanouse Bible gives
the same date but gives the place of death as Terrell, TX; her gravestone
erroneously gives the date of death as 12 Feb. 1935 [transcription
provided by Justin M. Sanders of Knoxville, TN 18 Nov 1993].
