HISTORY: Ferdinand Harz lived in this house until he sold to Joseph Johns In an article about this historic home is the following: "three generations of family occupancy began when the house was acquired in the early 1900's by Mrs. Benjamin Frank Johnson, grandmother of Mrs. [Josephine] Sims." Originally three rooms- parlour, bedroom and kitchen. Mrs. Johnson added bedroom in attic and a sleeping porch on the east, and glassed in porch on north. Joe Johns added large living room, bath closets and 2nd attic bedroom in 1940's to 1952. The Sims' added central air/heat and a full bath on southeast side.
