PFEIFFER. Looking for information on Carolyn (Pfeiffer) Kutzer, who moved from Germany to Texas in 1854 from Breman on board the ship Gessner. Moved to Comfort, TX in 1870. She was born in Germany in 1813 in or around Shildau, Sachsen Germany. Lillie Lena Blank. Her brother was Eddie Blank.
Jacob Blank, her father, immigrated from Germany in the 1800's.He was married to
Marriane. I am enclosing a picture of Lillie Lena. Does anyone
recognize the "chapeau bras" she is wearing in the picture? It resembles that in
the picture of General Santa Anna and his chapeau. Did she join a Mexican American
fraternal or charity organization?

CHATHAM. I am looking for the family of Jerry Vonzell Chatham, who lived in Comfort until his death in 1989. He was married to a Lucy Waite, who has since remarried. It is my understanding that both Lucy and her daughter Jerri Marie Potter (married name unknown) both still live in Comfort. I am trying to contact Mr. Chatham's son as I have some of the late Mr. Chatham's possessions and would like to return them to the family.
