(4/28/2006--this is not a current email) Subject: [TXLIMEST] Lewis Eaves Resent-Date: Thu, 7 Oct 1999 21:16:35 -0700 (PDT) Mexia News--Thursday, March 12 1964--Groesbeck Rites Held Thursday For Lewis Eaves Groesbeck--Funeral services for Lewis Clyde Eaves, 62, were held Thursday morning at 10 oclock in Shelton Chapel. Mr. Eaves who had been living in Beaumont, formerly resided in Groesbeck. He died Tuesday night in a Beaumont hospital. He was a shoe salesman. Conducting the rites was the Rev. W. H. Long, pastor of the First Baptist Church. Burial was in Faulkenberry Cemetery, under the direction of the Shelton Funeral Home. Surviving are his wife of Beaumont; his mother, Mrs. Laura Eaves of Beaumont; a sister, Mrs. Leila McCorkle of Groves and three step-daughters. |
