QRYTEXT: CHAFFIN, Jackson Florida and Joseph.  They moved to Waldrip, McCulloch Co., TX after the Civil War.  Joseph was the father of Jackson Florida CHAFFIN and apparently lived with him and wife Sarah Susan STOCKTON Chaffin.  All are buried in the Chaffin Cemetery but only Joseph has a headstone which does not include the date he died.  I would like to know the dates these people died and any other information available about them.

Brief sketch of William's family found in McCulloch County history here in Midland Library. Family story says that Bill/William was an artist. Bill's mother lived in McCulloch Co ca 1880 with his brothers Thomas Zachariah and Joseph Samuel, Sam may have married Sarah Elizabeth SNODGRASS there in 1893. Their first 3 children may have been born there: Teddy N, Birdie S and Dovie Elizabeth, would like confirmation if possible. Am planning research 1-3-99 to 1-5-99! to Stacy and Brady.
