Unmarked Graves By Pat Stephenson

I know of several unmarked graves in the Danville Cemetery. First though, a marked grave: my great grandfather, James Henry Hall, died 15 March 1905 and is buried in Danville Cemetery with a huge marker. He was buried between his two wives, who preceded him in death, and whose graves are not marked. Both wives died in childbirth and the children are buried there, too. However, the child of the first wife died three months after she did so it would have a separate grave. The wives were (1) Sarah Ann George (d. 1863) and daughter, Barberey Elizabeth Hall, and (2) Mary Jane Wester (1850-1890) and daughter, Sadie Hall. Also buried nearby in unmarked graves are James and Mary Jane's daughter, Sarah Jane "Sally" Hall Selman (1880-1937) and Sally's daughter, Darlene Selman Valdez (d. 1935).
