Abilene Municipal Cemetery
How To Get There:
From North Treadaway go East on North Tenth Street. The Cemetery is noticed immediately and is on both sides of the road. It is a large, sprawling cemetery with a number of different "sections". One area is known as "Cedar Hill". There is also a "Masonic Section, an "Odd Fellow's (I.O.O.F.) Section", and a "City Section". GPS location: N 32° 27.502' W 099° 43.475'

Abilene Municipal Cemetery is often simply called Abilene Cemetery. It is a large, sprawling
complex that is operated by the City of Abilene. The cemetery has never been inventoried and as a consequence
there are no books available that list the burials. The only list is held by the Community Services Department, City
of Abilene. In January 2002 the city placed a current listing of the burials online.
