| There are 6 to 15 blooms at the top of the flower stalk. Mature plants are from 5 to 8 inches tall and may have from one to six flower stalks. Though very small, individual blooms are very pretty and many resemble tulips (see inset). The plant and roots have a very distinct "onion" odor, especially when crushed.
